THE HISTORY

Jazz n' Bluz began with a desire among friends who loved the music to have a place which could offer this to the residents and visitors to Cebu City.

The managing partner, Yuko Namare, graduated with a degree in Music and taught music for a while in Japan and in Los Angeles. It was her drive to put up the bar with close friends that led to the realization of Jazz n' Bluz. Acquaintances among musician friends who had come from stints abroad helped make this dream a reality. They began reforming as bands and started to play regularly in Jazz n' Bluz. The audience began gathering and coming back regularly.

Little by little, Jazz n' Bluz took shape, with the addition of a formidable staff with the requisite culinary skills to whip up a savory menu of dishes that were fit to serve the discriminating clientele that Jazz n' Bluz began to attract.

Today, Jazz n' Bluz has become what the original owners wanted it to be - a jazz mecca in Cebu City, with good food and drinks to serve to the clientele whose tastes match the music offerings.
